Child Safety Standards

Choid’s standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation.

Last updated: September 17, 2026

1. Adults Only

Phych LLC operates Choid as a dating app for adults 18 and older. Minors may not create accounts or use Choid. These child-safety standards apply to every user, profile, message, image, recording, link, and interaction on the service.

If you believe an account belongs to someone under 18, report it. A stated age or profile badge is not proof of age or a safety guarantee.

2. Prohibited Content And Conduct

Choid prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. This includes:

3. Report A Concern

4. Action On Child-Safety Concerns

Our policy is to prioritize child-safety reports, assess the available information, and restrict or remove content and accounts that violate these standards. When we obtain actual knowledge of CSAM on Choid, we remove access to it and take appropriate action against the responsible account, while preserving information required for reporting or law enforcement.

Child sexual exploitation can result in permanent account removal. An account confirmed to belong to a minor is removed from the adults-only service. We may limit an account while a serious safety concern is reviewed.

Reports are reviewed with access limited to people who need it for safety, legal, or security work. We do not promise that all content is screened in advance or that a report receives an immediate response.

5. Reporting And Preservation Obligations

Choid’s policy is to comply with applicable child-safety reporting and preservation laws. We report apparent child sexual exploitation, including CSAM, to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline and/or the appropriate authority as required by law. We cooperate with lawful requests from relevant authorities.

Restricted report evidence can remain after content is unsent, a match ends, or an account is deleted. Ordinary report evidence has a 180-day retention period; a documented legal hold or legal reporting duty can require longer preservation. Our Privacy Policy explains these exceptions.

6. Get Help And Contact Us

Choid’s child-safety contact is safety@choid.app. This contact accepts safety concerns about Choid and questions about these standards. We may be unable to share another person’s private information or details of an investigation.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. Do not wait for an in-app report or email response. You can also report suspected child sexual exploitation directly to NCMEC’s CyberTipline; this is separate from reporting the Choid account to us.
