Accessibility And ADA Statement

How Choid approaches accessibility for the app and website.

Last updated: September 17, 2026

1. Commitment

Choid is committed to making its mobile app and website usable by people with disabilities. We want users to be able to create accounts, build profiles, review matches, message, manage settings, and access legal information with assistive technologies and without unnecessary barriers.

Accessibility is an ongoing product requirement, not a one-time certification. We review accessibility issues as the app changes and prioritize fixes that affect core account, safety, dating, communication, and legal flows.

2. Accessibility Standard

Choid uses the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as a reference target for the app and website where those guidelines can reasonably apply. We also consider native iOS and Android accessibility expectations, including screen reader support, readable text, focus order, touch target size, color contrast, and reduced-motion needs.

This statement is not a formal declaration that every screen, third-party component, or user-generated item fully conforms to WCAG or any specific law. It describes the standard we work toward and how users can report barriers.

3. Measures We Take

4. Known Limitations

5. Feedback And Assistance

If you have trouble using Choid because of an accessibility barrier, contact support@choid.app. Include the screen or feature, your device and operating system, the assistive technology or browser you use, and what you were trying to do.

We will review accessibility reports and work to provide a practical response or alternative way to access the affected feature where reasonable. Response timing can vary based on the issue, but barriers affecting account access, safety, privacy, messaging, or legal information are treated as high priority.

6. Alternate Formats

If you need legal information, account instructions, or support content in a different accessible format, contact support@choid.app. We will make reasonable efforts to provide the information in a format that works for you.

7. Updates

We may update this Accessibility And ADA Statement as Choid changes, accessibility work is completed, standards evolve, or legal requirements change.
